Founded by Mike Korn, former law enforcement officer retired Sgt. Mike has been teaching one on one pistol shooting for over 20 years has held NRA Police Firearms Training Certification, currently holds NRA Basic Pistol Firearms Certification and NC Concealed Handgun Certification. Mike is known for his hands on personal touch giving his students the confidence that is needed to shoot confidently and effectively.
Our First Class is Ladies Only August 23rd
Our Second Class Is Mixed Men and Women September 11th
Each Class is 8 hours long starting 8:00 a.m. to about 4:30.
There will also be range time (Range time may be divided between a few days depending on the size of the class.) The Cost is $120.00 Including Lunch at Nineteen Restaurant – 513 Country Club Drive in Hampstead NC.

- You Do Not need to own a firearm to attend class, you can rent one of Mike’s for $10.
- You must supply your own ammo (if renting a gun it’s .22 LR or 9 mm.)
- You must provide eye and ear protection.
- You will receive the concealed carry certification that you must turn into the sheriff’s department for your permit.
- Once you receive your permit you can purchase a handgun over the counter.
- No firearms or ammunition allowed in the classroom.
This class provides students with a fundamental understanding of handgun safety, as well as the rights, responsibilities and laws which come with carrying a concealed handgun in multiple states.
The class will cover a number of different subjects, including But Not Limited to, basic handgun safety, tactical issues, concealed carry firearm selection tips, ammunition, holsters, gun free zones, reciprocity, cleaning, storage, firearm transport, justifiable force, criminal and civil liability, how to interact with law enforcement, and how to apply for your permit.
